Our Story

Here at Pride & Purpose Project, we’re committed to investing our expertise and resources in order to further achieve our cause. Since 2000, we’ve been supporting our community members in a variety of ways and measuring our success not by monetary size, but by more qualitative measurements such as the scale and effectiveness of our efforts. Just imagine what we can achieve together!

Our mission is to foster a friendly and safe environment in West Contra Costa County to help prevent and create awareness of  underage (<21) marijuana use. The program will empower the students by creating a positive, healthy and motivating environment, which will improve their overall self-esteem and self-worth. In addition, the Pride & Purpose Project will place focus on educating the students about how marijuana affects and hinders various aspects of their lives. Using a combination of evidence based practices and experience the Pride & Purpose Project uplifts, supports, and encourages youth while preventing negative behaviors.
